Several inns and bed and breakfasts will be delighted to welcome you.<\/p><h3>Astronomy<\/h3><p>Domaine des Appalaches Inc. is located in the heart of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sepaq.com\/parcs-quebec\/blogue\/article.dot?id=17f4cb85-16fe-4275-8dad-a209d5e049fe\">first International Dark Sky Reserve in the world<\/a>.<\/p><p>In the heart of Notre-Dame-des-Bois, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.astrolab-parc-national-mont-megantic.org\/\">Mont-M\u00e9gantic National Park\u2019s ASTROLab<\/a> is the largest observatory on the east coast of North America, only a few kilometers away from our Estate.<\/p><h3>Golf<\/h3><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clubdegolflacmegantic.com\/\">The Club de Golf Lac M\u00e9gantic<\/a> and its 18 holes is very popular with golfers. The Eastern Townships region, with nearly 50 recognized courses, is a highly sought-after destination for golfers in Quebec.<\/p><h3>Fishing<\/h3><p>Speckled trout can be found in the lakes of the Domaine des Appalaches, which are reserved for landowners and their guests. In the region, Lac M\u00e9gantic is renowned for its wide variety of trout (speckled, rainbow, gray, etc.). Nearby is Lac aux Araign\u00e9es, famous for bass fishing.<\/p><h3>Skiing and snowshoeing<\/h3><p>Alpine skiing enthusiasts: Sugar Loaf Resort is about an hour&#8217;s drive away, and Bromont Resort is an hour and a half away.
